The Beatles Close-Up
A cappella group Les Brünettes' show, inspired by their latest album The Beatles Close-Up, recorded in London's legendary Abbey Road studios, turns the spotlight on the life and music of the Fab Four through the eyes of four young women.
The Brünettes create their own arrangements and let themselves go in creative, playful and sometimes naughty directions.
They dust off the big hits for an innovative and breathtaking result. From the Liverpool of the 60s with "Penny Lane", to the mythical song "Let It Be", made up of minimalist elements and electronic beats, via a Bach fugue introducing the anthem "Lady Madonna" to the nonchalant samba "The Ballad of John & Yoko", Les Brünettes dazzle us with an almost sacred version of John Lennon's song "Imagine". They also pay tribute to one of the most impressive women in Beatles history, Yoko Ono.
A veritable bundle of energy on stage, Les Brünettes, sensual and elegant, passionate and sparkling, laugh, have fun, play on the scale of their vocal cords and carry us away in a whirlwind of emotions. In the background, images projected during the show, dialogues, short scenes, clips...,
With The Beatles Close-Up, Les Brünettes put on a real American-style show, and touch our hearts!
