Dire Straits | sTRAITS

Founded in 2018, ‘sTRAITS’, a tribute to Dire Straits, has quickly become the talk of the town. At each of their concerts, this team of musicians from all walks of life plays to packed houses. It's easy to see why when you're lucky enough to attend one of their concerts.

Greg's voice bears a striking resemblance to that of the famous founder of the London band. Patrice perfectly reproduces the different sounds used in the Dire Straits repertoire, as well as the touch and sensuality of Mark Knopfler's playing.

Chris, on drums, deploys the discreet complexity of a highly polished track. Laurent, on bass, is at the heart of what really makes a track tick. William, the band's keyboardist, recreates the soul of the tracks and brings that emotion that the audience comes to look for in a live show.

This band is well worth a visit, as much for its faithfulness to the Dire Straits sound as for the emotion that emanates from its concerts.
