The D DAY Ladies are a trio of professional singers from Normandy:
Glwadys Ann Lemarchand, Anita Covelli (Franco-American) and Dominique Martinelli. Passionate about swing and American culture, they pay a vibrant tribute to the history of the D-Day landings and plunge us into the post-war American musical universe, which they master to perfection thanks to their respective vast stage experience.
Accompanied by local jazz musicians, our Ladies, dressed in period costumes, are supported by their musicians in military dress. Most of the arrangements are by Jean-Pierre Hervieu, a trumpeter and arranger from the Saint-Lô region, whose talent and kindness have been essential to the development of this great musical project.
All in all, the D DAY Ladies show is an explosion of madness, energy and humour. It's a singing and dancing show, marked by genuine interaction with the audience, to whom they address themselves in French and English, adding a unique value to their performance.
